2008 On Sarari TICA Bengal Cat Show
Altered Bengal OhMy's Abben Buddy Love loved and owned by our member Pat Harbert, was shown at the 2008 On Sarari TICA Bengal Cat show, where Buddy Love was 9th Best Alter of the show! This accomplishment was at the age of 12 years old!! Buddy Love was also scanned HCM clear!! Congratulations, Pat and Buddy Love!!

Go here to see Pat and Jim celebrating their 50th anniversary at the Fort Worth Feline Fanciers Cat show on June 14th. They were definitely surprised and a good time was had by all!

These kittens were rescued along with their very sweet Mom, Lemur. Thunderkatz is proud to announce that all have been adopted and are now in their new homes. Thank you to all club members who made this happen.

THUNDERKATZ WINS!
AT FT. WORTH June 9, 2007

A BIG congratulations goes to Ric and Janis Larson on "Chunk" achieving his Supreme Title (pictured at right). D'Ann Kovic awarded him Best Cat in her all male final ring. SGC Velvetwrinkles Granda is well known to Thunderkatz members and many exhibitors in the South Central Region. When Chunk wasn't in the ring showing, he was in his cage snoozing with kittens, and seemed totally unaffected by the excitement of acheiving his new title. We hope to see many "Chunk" kittens following in their Father's paw prints.

SGC Wildvision Snowbound of Chalkmtn's son BJ (Bounder Jr., owned by Dana Zauf) picked up a final and a couple of breeds, even though he was barely old enough to be there! Not bad for a little bitty snow boy!

CH. Prince Bellini placed in all 8 rings, but no finals. Thus, he shall retire a champion. Dana says he's ok with that and so is she.

Dana admits it was a bit strange not having Bounder there in her lap at the rings, not to mention not having to use the "I'm a Hoser" card!! We missed seeing Bounder at the show, but Jr. sure is cute. We all wish Jr. luck at shows in the future.

Balicat's Geronimo of OhMy owned by Pat Harbert Championed despite the fact that showing is not his favorite thing. Geromino will now retire at OhMy to produce babies. He already has one litter available, check them out at www.ohmycats.com.

Pat's baby Aby girl was Best of Breed in 7 of 8 rings and received 3 Finals.

At OKC in APRIL 2007

JoAnimals' tabby male took fifth place in Household Pets. He was a Katrina refugee. A forever home for at least one kitten was found--and prospects for several others.

Meg Mello's American Shorthair Silver torbie Kitten: CLOUDY ROSE! She won 11 of 12 rings in Oklahoma City and 3rd Best Kitten in the show!

At THE SHOW IN WACO LAST MARCH:

Velvet Wrinkles Granda, received one final, 6th Best Shorthair Cat AB, this final made him QGC. Velvet Wrinkles Gwenivere (1st show) received a final, 10th Best Shorthair Cat - SP, and Championed with this final. Velvet Wrinkles Tsaha (lst Show) receied a 10th Best Shorthair Cat - SP and Championed with this final.

SGC Wildvision Snowbound of Chalkmtn (sepia spotted male) picked up 4 finals at the Colorado Springs show last weekend including a BEST CAT AB from Nancy Parkinson. He also received 4 finals at the Brenham, TX show the week before, and 4 at Tulsa prior to that. Boo is the the first Bengal Snow Supreme in SC Region!!! Congrats to Dana Zauf!

Carol Sue Hale's Willie is currently 16th in Championship.

The Thunderkatz were out in force at the South Central Regional Show July 15-16, 2006.

Past President and member since inception, Pat Harbert of OhMyCats was awarded the first ever RIPPLE EFFECT AWARD, in memory of Larry Snider, for Mentor of the Year. Pat also received the Member of the Year award. Other OhMyCats awards were:

Catalog of the Year
Several club members put in long hours to produce the 2006 show catalog and the work paid off. (A special thank you goes to Magi Whittaker who deserves the biggest thank you of all.) Thunderkatz was very proud to receive this award.
